Sound quality = 8 / 10, board snob = 1 / 10.It has a built-in attenuator and can run from 0.2 watts all the way up to 22 watts like tube Deluxe Reverbs, so it can serve as both a practice amp and a rehearsal / gigging amp. Its reverb and tremolo algorithms are top notch, which reduces the need to rely on discrete pedals for those effects.Ehx freeze or Mood are good for creating pads underneath. Mood also has delay, reverb and a slip mode which are great. Boss sy1 or sy200 are great for synth sounds and pads too with its hold option. A volume pedal make swells a lot easier than using your volume knob. A compressor can help with sustain on notes.I enjoyed the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone on my old amp, but with my new amp I like the built in presets better. I'd still recommend the pedal though.
