It talks about all these supposed benefits you can get for joining but you have to pay $95 to join. It seems pretty sketchy to me but I wanted to ask other ags and get their opinion on it. 0. 7. But any employer who actually knows the NSLS knows its the same as a membership to Costco. Honestly, I paid the $95 thinking it would be good. The induction requirements are a little much especially in the middle of a full course load. So I never completed induction and found it to be a complete waste of money 🤷🏻‍♀️. I didn't, there's better places to boost your resume for free. They also have a relatively low bar of acceptance so it's not particularly prestigious either. Towson has their system set up so not even my professors know my legal name, and most folks have to dig for it (if they have access).Basically, things like GPA, SAT/ACT scores, etc will matter much more and they'll only care about the fact that you were in NHS if they're deciding between you and somebody else and everything else is the same.
