I've sold thousand's of gallons of Speedhide and Promar over a twenty year period. I haven't applied much of either one, but i can tell you that the number of complaints i've had on Speedhide is probably 1/50th of the complaints i've had on promar 200. Don't really know what that means to a painter though. Could be price dependent.After the new drywall mud is sealed and back-rolled, it seems like the difference would be nominal spraying two coats of ProMar 200 or 2 coats of Cashmere (for example). Maybe the slightly longer drying time of Cashmere would make a difference, but I can't imagine I would use much more or less when spraying two thin (standard) coats.

Pro mar is good solid paint. The low sheen can look good on walls if its applied properly, but yes it can flash and show roller marks. Emerald matte can flash also, it all depends on having a good surface to paint over and the application techniques.
