When I asked on how to upgrade from my b dhide top some clan members told me to buy arma/karil's. Now, arma is wayyy to expansive for me, so I looked up Karil's. The offensive stats on it are the same as dhide. Melee def stats are worse. It does have better mage def and 2 more range def which both are meh.

Compared to a magic shortbow (i) with amethyst arrows (the best arrows it can use) karils crossbow/bolt racks have 9 higher attack bonus, same range strength as amethyst arrows, a longer attack range, and same attack speed; so its already a slightly better weapon for about same cost (55 per bolt rack vs [360*0.2] per arrow with assembler, add 6gp/shot for repair cost for just crossbow, or 30gp ... . Spec: ahrim (even msb (i) spec, or dds, but ideally claws) Melee: skeletons, bloodworms for kc. Or if you’re BPing you can get kc with bp and not bring melee gear at all.
