Play Kassadin. Don't know in the Midlane tho, but at least on Toplane Kalista hard outclasses Lucian. Most mid lane assassins counter ADC mids. Fizz, Vlad, Zed, Talon, Ekko etc. You literally just have to survive early laning phase and wait for an item powerspike and level 6. Then have fun one shooting the adc.

Lucian’s fine in the meta, disregard anyone saying he’s trash right now. He’s not an S-tier pick (like Sivir and Jinx), but he’s around A-tier. He’s still great in Solo Queue since it’s easy to snowball games with him.
